Help Following Hurricane Melissa Hurricane Melissa as both a Tropical Storm and Category 5 Hurricane has been bringing havoc to the Caribbean region since October 21. Dumping huge amounts of rain with devastating winds, it has significantly impacted Jamaica, The Dominican Republic, and Haiti as it moved westward and now northward thru the Caribbean Sea. As of this writing, Melissa is moving thru the Bahamas and on towards Bermuda.
LaRoche & Co Missions wants to extend a hand of encouragement and provision to our friends in Haiti to let them know that they are not alone. This is a tangible expression of both the REAL LOVE & REAL HOPE IN JESUS CHRIST. It's why we do what we do.
Thru our Haiti Missions Program, we have been helping individuals & families with urgent needs from food to housing to transportation to flee unsafe regions due to the spread of the gangs. Now, we would like to assist with food and hygiene needs following this Hurricane. With existing poor infrastructure and housing (many live in tents made of tarps & sticks or corrugated metal shacks) the flooding and winds have caused significant damage. In a section of Port au Prince, 25 are reported dead due to the flooding including 1 whole family and 10 children overall.
Please join us in extending assistance to people in Haiti. Will it change the long-term circumstances? No. But, it will meet real needs, bring encouragement & hope, and strengthen their resolve. You have 2 options to give (Can't decide? Choose both!!)
1. Our Ministry Partner, Real Love Ministries International has a $4000 goal to help 100 families with food and hygiene packs in the villages they serve.
2. LaRoche & Co Missions is also receiving funds to assist families beyond the reach of RLMI that we have connections to thru our Haiti Missions Program. We will distribute funds directly to them to meet their needs for food and hygiene items. We have safe and secure ways to do that. It's what we have been doing for awhile now as needs arise. In fact, you can give any time to the Haiti Missions Program to assist with needs there. Other plans for our Haiti Missions Program includes supporting RLMI's Kids Club Outreach Program (evangelism & discipleship for children & teens), individual small business startups, and special projects of RLMI.

Donations Needed for Western North CarolinaLaRoche & Co Missions is preparing for our 5TH MISSION TRIP to WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA (WNC) which is still recovering from Hurricane Helene over a year ago. Pray For Our Upcoming TripWe have a Team of 7 (there's still time to join), who will be working in Clyde North Carolina. Our work days, will be Monday-Friday the week of November 8-15. Both Saturdays are travel days and Sunday we will worship and fellowship with our friends at Crosslink Church-Morganton to spiritually prepare for the week.
