Mission Season at

LaRoche & Co Missions

Honestly, it’s always “Mission Season” at LaRoche & Co Missions — it’s just that some seasons are busier than others. And we are heading into one of those busy and exciting seasons now!

Here’s a look at what is ahead, along with a few ways you can partner with us in ministry through prayer, giving, and relationships.

Haiti Vision Trip | May 17–22

This Sunday, May 17 through Friday, May 22, I will be spending four days in Haiti with my friend and ministry partner, Pastor Jonathan Reece, along with Pastor Kevin Burns from our partner church, Waterlife Church in North Carolina.

The purpose of this trip is to:

  • Visit our new North Haiti campus, which has now been operating for one year

  • Reconnect with the children and young adults at our Children’s Home and Transition House

  • Visit widows in the community

  • Tour the region where we are ministering

  • Meet with local leaders

  • Spend time with our Founder/Director, Michael Sineus, and the Haiti Board as we seek God’s direction for future ministry opportunities

I am excited to return to Haiti, reconnect with our ministry family, and explore a new part of the country. Most importantly, we are praying for wisdom, encouragement, and clear direction from the Lord.

Please pray for safe travels and a fruitful trip.

North Carolina Recovery Mission Trip | June 6–14

From June 6–14, Lori, Grace, and I will be leading our 6th North Carolina Recovery Mission Trip.

This trip is being hosted by the Salt & Light Young Adult Group at Faith Country Chapel, our home church. We have a team of 10 people who will once again partner with disaster relief ministries in Western North Carolina to serve families still rebuilding their homes and lives following Hurricane Helene.

Twenty-one months later, many families are still struggling to recover from the devastation. Although the story may no longer be in the national news cycle, the needs remain very real.

During the trip, we will also be serving alongside MawMaw’s Cheer, a ministry dedicated to helping children ages 0–17 throughout Western North Carolina. What began as a small Christmas outreach in one county quickly expanded into a year-round regional ministry in response to Hurricane Helene.

We love the “can-do spirit” of MawMaw’s Cheer, and it is always a privilege to come alongside them whenever we serve in North Carolina.

We are collecting select items to donate to distribute through MawMaw's Cheer and the Distribution Center at Oteen Baptist Church.  You can see the full list here.  Note: we are only accepting items on the list.

The Whole Family Is Doing It!

In mid-June, Sam and his new girlfriend, Katie, will be joining Pastor Ben and his wife from Pathway Church in Chippewa, PA, on a mission trip to Panama. They will be ministering alongside Pastor Ben, who will be serving as the featured speaker at a youth camp.

At the same time, Shelda will begin staff training at Pine Valley Bible Camp in Ellwood City, PA, where she will serve on the summer kitchen staff. Pine Valley’s Gospel mission is simple and powerful: creating fun to build a bridge to the heart of a child.

Lori and I are thrilled to see our entire family involved in the “family business” of ministry. And this is only the beginning of what we are praying will be a fruitful summer for the Kingdom of God!

Thank you for praying, giving, encouraging, and serving alongside us. Please use the Button below for information on another very important mission that is very near and dear to my heart---Medical Mercies.

Blessings,
