LaRoche & Co. Missions Update

We offically launched as a non-profit organization in the State of Pennsylvania in December 2024.  Pray for us as we continue to build the structure that we need to effectively be Mobilizing Missions Thru Relationships.  Here is an update on our progress and some news that may be helpful to know.

• Our application for 501c3 status from the IRS is ready to go.  As soon as we have the funds for the $600 application fee, we will submit it.  Once approved, the designation will be retroactive to December 17 2024.  This means all donations since that time will be tax-deductible.
• The first draft of our Business Plan is complete. Please pray that it will soon be finalized and ready for sharing. This is the plan for our retail business (primarily online) which will sell Haitian Coffee, other Haitian made goods, and possibly handcrafted items made by our family and friends. The "profits" from the business will supplement our donor fundraising in support of the overall mission and programming of LaRoche and Co. Missions.
• Speaking of Donor Fundraising: Thank you to all who are faithfully supporting with prayer and financial gifts the Van Nest Vision Team (Missionary income for Russ & Lori), the North Carolina Recovery Mission Trips, and our Haiti Missions.  A reminder that all gifts can be made online using Tithe.ly which is our Donor Management Service.  To make a financial gift to LaRoche and Co. Missions:
  • Online at larochemissions.com or get  Tithe.ly's app in your AppStore and search for LaRoche & Co Missions. (See the Give page for AppStore links at the bottom of the page.)
  • You can also Text-To-Give.   Simply text the word "GIVE" to 877-361-4485 (GIV5)
    Complete giving information and credit/debit card details. Once complete, the information is securely saved for future gifts. 
  • When giving online, please consider covering the transaction fee so that your full donation goes to ministry.  There's an optional box to check to do so.  If you have a recurring gift setup, you can access your account (creating a username/password is strongly encouraged for all donors) to verify you are covering the fees.
