Haiti News

It is our privilege to partner with Real Love Ministries International in Haiti.  Russ continues to serve as the Ministry Catalyst on the Leadership Team alongside Michael Sineus, Haiti Director/Founder and Jonathan Reece, U.S. Director. He is also a member of the U.S. Board.  Here are some quick highlights:

• The Widows Mite Ministry has been reset with 32 people in 3 villages.  Food distributions were conducted in July and August.  The actual number of people who receive food packs each month is based on the funds donated to Widows Mite in the previous month.  Praise God that in September all members received a food pack and we should be able to do that again in October!!  A food pack typically includes pasta, rice, beans, oil, and sardines.
• Congratulations to Majolene and to Enelson!!  Majolene is our 4th High School graduate!  Enelson was the top student for his school in the 9th grade government exam!  Passing this test allows advancement onto High School and the 10th grade. We are proud of Majolene and Enelson for the academic accomplishments.
• A new school year starts this month.  Please pray for our 10 students to have successful educational journeys this year.  We also praise God for the $2600 raised to pay for uniforms, shoes, supplies, and the 1st tuition payment for all our students.  We have 3 more payments, of approximately $800 each, yet to make for the annual tuition.
