As we launch out into the New Year, having just marked the 1st anniversary of LaRoche & Co Missions on Dec. 17, we have 2 exciting tidbits of news to share with you!

First, we will soon be launching an online retail store.  The exact date will be announced soon.  Our first product line is Haitian Coffee.  We have partnered with the non-profit wholesaler, Singing Rooster. In their own words, Singing Rooster supplies U.S. and international markets with gourmet Haitian coffee (green or roasted), chocolate bars or cacao (for chocolate-making) and art (fair trade retailers, nonprofit fundraising).  They are a social enterprise nonprofit who means business.  SR partners commercially with small producers in Haiti to build better businesses while simultaneously re-introducing the world to fabulous Haitian products. We look forward to a strong relationship with Singing Rooster and their farmers.

By buying from LaRoche & Co (the name of our online store), you will enjoy every sip of great tasting coffee that is competitively priced.  You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that every dollar spent has a benefit attached to it.  From the farmers in Haiti who are growing their business, providing for their families, and adding to the economy of Haiti to the good work done by Singing Rooster and lastly to the current and future Kingdom work that is being done by LaRoche & Co Missions, every dollar has a significant impact!  Great-tasting coffee at a great price with great benefits attached.  That's a win-win-win situation all the way around!

In the months ahead, we will be expanding our coffee line, adding additional products like gift items, jewelry, handcrafted items, and home goods from Haiti. In addition, we want to add hand-crafted items made by friends and family here in the United States.  Again, all proceeds benefit the overall work of LaRoche & Co Missions.

Currently, we will be selling Haitian Honey (Light-Medium), CuckaROO (Medium-Dark), French Dark Roast, and Decaf.  All are available in Ground and Whole Bean.  The cost will be $17.50 for a 12oz bag with the French Dark Roast selling at $16.50.  Details on how to order will be posted soon with the launch date.

BUT, for this week only, New Castle (PA) area friends have an opportunity to purchase coffee at our Pre-Launch Fundraiser Sale of $15 on all flavors for pickup or delivery only thru January 5 (shipping anywhere will be available from our online store when it opens).

The other bit of news to share is the dates for our NC Recovery Mission Trips in 2026.  Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene upon Western North Carolina in late September 2024, we quickly responded by participating in the relief efforts. Since that first trip in October 2024, we have completed 5 missions to WNC.  We are planning 3 trips for 2026:

  • April 18-25
  • November 7-14
  • We are also planning a trip with the Young Adult Group at Faith Country Chapel for May or June.

Mark your calendars now! Registration for these trips will open in early January.  Estimated cost is $4-$450/person.
