LaRoche and Co Missions is excited to announce our 6th Hurricane Recovery Mission Trip to western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene in late September 2024.  The first trip  was October 24-29 2024, when Russ, Lori, and Grace delivered a truck load of donated items plus, served with Samaritan's Purse.  This was followed by a 2nd trip in November 2024 and then 3 more in March, June and November of last year

YOU ARE INVITED TO SERVE WITH US April 18-25 2026.  As in previous trips, we will partner with another ministry already on the ground focusing on home rehabilitation and construction.  There are still many people who are displaced from their homes.  It is estimated it will take another 2 years to address the needs of the households impacted by Helene's devastation.  That is why we are committed to continue to serve until the work is done.

We are partnering with a group called Disaster Response which is a coalition of Long's Chapel, Oteen Baptist, the North Carolina Region of the Global Methodist Church and other local groups and individuals who are working cooperatively for the betterment of the affected region of Western North Carolina.  This is our 2nd trip with them and we look to continue this partnership as we consider them great people to work with, well-organized, and the right focus on serving in the name of Jesus.

If you are ready to jump in, complete the application now.  A deposit of $100 is not required at this time but should be paid by the deadline of March 18.  Estimated max cost for the trip is $450 which will include transportation, food, and lodging.  A final cost will be set following the March 18 deadline. Note: you will be responsible for your own personal expenses including travel meals and a few "eating out" meals during the week.

Applications after the March 18 deadline will be considered on a case by case basis.  Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult designated by the parent. Signed Parental Consent will be required.  Please contact us for that.  Also, for local people who want to serve, day options are available.  Please contact us to arrange that also.

Team Member Qualifications

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
• A willingness to serve.
• An attitude of compassion, perseverance and flexibility.
• A commitment to working as a reliable team member.
• Construction skills are NOT required but, we do encourage a willingness to learn.

Final determination of participation in the trip is at the discretion of LaRoche & Co Missions.
